PT 54 Christian County 7

Final

Christian County did indeed withdraw from the playoffs, so assuming they actually get the merger done this time, this was the last game for a once proud program.  Failed to win more than two games in any of their final seven seasons.  Incredibly, their last season with a winning record was in 2017 when they went undefeated until losing in the second round of the playoffs.  Just stepped right off the ledge.

I'll always remember the games Warren Central played against them from 2003-2011.  Those were some wars.

On a side note, I think Christian County and Hopkinsville have been bleeding students to University Heights and now Heritage lately; not for football of course. If their enrollment continues to grow I wouldn't be surprised if UH considers fielding a team in the future in 1A.
