It's all about the picture we paint, don't you think?

It'll be interesting to see what East has to offer Raceland. They lose big to Russell in a fashion they probably never anticipated, now they're home underdogs to the Rams. No one wants to back-pedal i

I just hope my Raiders don't get anyone injured and will be ready for the playoffs.

  • Raceland Passing Jacob Waller 78/108 (72%) for 1,277 passing yards with 2 INTs and 19 TDs. Averaging 142 passing yards per game.   40/42 PATs and 2/2 FGs Rushing Landen Stiltner 93

Raceland was almost fastened by an inclined plane wrapped helically around a cylinder by the officiating crew.  But, the Rams survived another interaction with this crew.

Were the officials involved in the 5 turnovers?

Does this score cause concern for Rams fans about title hopes?

East Carter is a good team but I expected the Rams to win a little more easily than how this went.

1.  Nope, at least 4 of the turnovers were Raceland's fault.  One was controversial with it initially be ruled a Raceland recovery but then very late being ruled an East Carter recovery.  But, turnovers were on Raceland.

2.  Of course it does.  Raceland should have won this game by a larger margin.  Not to take away from East Carter's very good defensive effort.  Their defense was focused.

3.  I agree completely.  Raceland should have won by a much larger margin based on where they are and what they have done.

My comments came from an officiating crew that has a long history in the area of being controversial and, in my opinion, biased toward certain area teams.  This is not an uncommon occurrence and in no way am I blaming the score on the officials, but this crew does these things pretty commonly.

The press box, East Carter's press box, were interacting with the commentators about what the officiating crew was messing up, it could be heard on the broadcast.  My thoughts, were not just me, you could even hear the East Carter fans in the bleachers on the broadcast laughing when they made Raceland punt on, what should have been, 3rd down and the officiating crew thought it was 4th down.

And, I think most of the officiating crews in my area are pretty darn good, in fact, I would put many of them up against any crew.  But, this crew, not so much.
