Both teams coming off a much needed bye week. NewCath has a good chance to play their projected preseason starters this week for the first time all year.
They are gonna need everyone if they want to contain the Anthrop’s and Bertram, who have the majority of the production from their Lloyd game.

This is a big game for New Cath to get some momentum before the district games. 

I watched both these teams play on film vs Lloyd and I am not sure who to pick in this one. I seen Lloyd run right by NCC. I seen Lloyd run right through Campbell. I think NCC has got better since that week 1 game but still has strides to make. I hope Campbell did some real deep soul searching during their bye week. NCC has played a pretty brutal schedule and Campbell's was pretty tough so far to this point also. I think it was a much needed bye week for both teams at the perfect point in the season for physical and mental wellness.

I laid into Campbell pretty hard after the Lloyd loss. I am really hoping they bounce back strong this week as it could be a make or break week for their season. Campbell has some really good football players. NCC is not looking to lose this game but even if so all of their season goals could still be in play.

Give me Campbell County 35-21.

NCC, please make me regret that statement.

I just looked at the records of this game and game hass been what I’d call a rivalry. Since 1998 the Camels hold a 14-10 advantage. The longest winning streak is 6 by New Cath. The Camels are going for win number 5 in a row. New Caths last win was in 2019.

It should always be some type of a rivalry when 2 schools play from the same county.

I’ve finally calmed down from my Raceland rant, and as said before, if the Breds can tackle they’ll have a chance at the end. Potentially fully healthy (lot of words ending in Y, sorry) has people with positive vibes. The Raceland game showed the Breds could compete offensively until the end of the second quarter when it fell apart. Good luck to both teams.

Any injury updates for Campbell Co if any? It looks like almost everyone is looking to play Friday for NewCath. I heard a kid from Campbell Co went down recently but no idea his (or the team's) status this week.

I meant to ask about this last week for Campbell. I noticed #3 Earls was helped off the field in like the 3rd qtr against Lloyd and I am almost positive he didn't return. Hope it was minor and everything is okay with him and any other kids dealing with injuries for either team.

I heard secondhand that he was injured but had no way of confirming. Hope he has bounced back and ready to play tonight. Appreciate ya!

I don't know if you caught it but I mentioned something about "my brothers keeper" in the Campbell vs Lloyd final thread. I noticed Earls attempting to return the ball an he got popped on special teams a few times where his teammates didn't necessarily give him the best chance to survive. And that's when I noticed he left the field and did not return.
