Going to be a tuff year for the largest school in the first region.

Our running backs ran hard tonite, and picked up the slack left by the injury to Josiah on the second play of the game. It looks like a hamstring injury, but no official word on that yet.

We really enjoyed watching Overstreet carry the ball for Mayfield! Robbins threw the ball much better tonite than he did last week.

One more thing, Newman ran the ball for McCracken County like he expected to break every tackle and score on every carry. He was a joy to watch last night.

that's a hamstring injury if I have ever seen one...pulled a few of those in my life time...have to be careful with those and not rush back...could linger rest of year if not careful but hopefully it won't...we need JE3 if we're gonna make any deep run in playoffs...looked like he was gonna have one of those nights like he did last year against McCracken..

On a positive note, Mayfield is going into the district part of their schedule that should be blowouts, so, they can afford to allow Josiah to fully recover before bringing him back. Just hoping it's not season ending.

Yes, Reggie had a great night. So glad for him!

News is that JE3 tore his hamstring not pulled it...a torn hamstring is a total different animal than a pulled hamstring. Don't know what was reported on the coaches show this morning......
