This matchup has been one heck of a Rivalry over the years. Middlesboro holds a 8-6 advantage since 1998. These teams haven’t played since 2022. Breathitt County won that matchup 20-0. I’m glad to see these two renew the rivalry. These games are always competitive and only a handful have been lopsided. So will 2025 live up to the hype?

Who wins this opening season matchup? Does Breathitt County leave Middlesboro with a win? Does Middlesboro spoil the Bobcats hopes and send them back to Jackson with a loss?

I think Bobcats get the tough road win vs Middlesboro. But This could be a total shootout! Like back in late 90’s when these two would play . Just who ever gets the ball last. I really don’t think this will be one of those kind of games. Because both defenses have made vast improvements this year.
