If you saw the All Star game, they used a robo ump challenge that allowed the hitter or the pitcher to challenge a strike/ball call. That cannot get here fast enough. Hopefully next year. There were so many missed balls and strikes calls at crucial times in this series it was terrible - against both teams. I think it will make the umpires better. As they get challenged and overturned, they will adjust their strike zone and get better. My guess is the calls that get overturned will continually decrease as the umps get "trained".

If the reds make the playoffs, today's game is going to be looked at as a key win. Losing again the way it looked like they were going to lose would have been a huge energy and confidence drain. Coming from behind to get the win today flipped that around completely and will give the Reds a momentum boost.
