Hester back Tonight

I just got word that Mike Hester will be back in the lineup tonight in the SK vs. Ryle game. Good News for Mike and the Neers.

Good news for Mike, and I hope he remains there the rest of the year!!

It will be interesting to see how Coach Steiner brings Mike along. SK should beat Ryle with or without Mike and then Friday SK travels down to Shelby Co to take on the Rockets. I hope he is 100% and ready to come back and play as hard as we know the kid can.

I agree, I think he should ease Mike back into the lineup, give him a few minutes tonight and then increase it as he comes along.

My guess is you can't hold Hester back, he was born to play, look for him to hit the ground running,

a great competitor

Very good news for SK. He will definitely change the look of SK. Having him back and healthy along with Wade being released from Shelby makes SK even more of favorite to win the 8th region.

I'm not saying to tell him to take it easy when he is in there, but you need to limit his minutes somewhat. Less than a week ago he was wearing a cast still, to play him the whole game would be in my mind stupid. I agree that he is going to give it his all, I just think that if I'm the coach I limit his time. He is too important to this team to risk getting him hurt again.

I'm not sure if I agree with this. If he's cleared to play, then he's cleared. If he hurts himself because he plays a bunch of mintues tonight, then he obviously wasn't ready to play anyway, and would've just gotten hurt against Shelby. And I'd like to see him get a little PT before the big game against Shelby anyway, he could use a little action to get him going. My guess would be, he sits when the starters sit, which might be mid 3rd quarter.
