I went and watched this game and thought both teams played very poorly. Knott had every chance to win and kept missing free throws and also missed about 20 shots inside the lane. Breathitt had a huge size advantage but didnt take advantage. I talked to some Breathitt fans and they said Breathitt has not been playing well lately. I guess that could be a sign of their youth. The 30 kid was the only kid that stuck out to me for Breathitt. He made some nice moves to the basket. Knott shot bad but really played hard and outhustled Breathitt to alot of loose balls. JMO

I think the JBS-Breathitt game will be a good one and should be fun to watch. This teams are similar in that they both are young and it should be good.

What happen to you guys that had Breathitt getting beat in this one.

I finally got a chance to get out of the bluegrass for the weekend and watch the bobcats. Their play was unimpressive early on. I have been talking about the young Fugate kid for Breathitt all season. I got to the game and was surprised to see that he didn't get a starting nod. Knott jumped up to an early lead and then Fugate got in the game. Breathitt seemed to play better and got right back into the game, the kid is a strong ball handler and sees the court well. He seemed like he was strong enough to make court length bullet passes. Noble is talented, but seems not to have the strength to make long passes on the fast break. When Breathitt utilizes the big Smith kid inside, gets Hollan open for jumpers, and utilizes Fugate's driving ability they are tough to beat. From watching the talent levels of these kids it seems like the best starting lineup would be Hollan, Fugate, Hayes, Combs, and Smith and having Noble, Allen, and Ritchie come off the bench. It seems with that lineup out there the bobcats would be really tough. JMO

Yes I dont think that Noble should be a starting he needs alot of work but so does Fugate which also needs alot of work on his shot.

Fugate could develop his shot more. But, with his driving ability and ball handling skills it seems that he can get some easy shots for Hollan and dump the ball off to Smith for some easy layups. When a point guard has this kind of ability to drive it can open up easy shots for teammates.

That could be the dumbest thing I have ever heard on here. You have not been around here long but you should think before you make your post. You seem to get mad everytime someone questions Breathitt and sometimes post things on here not to be mean but to say what they saw at a game.

Breathitt needs to have more shooters from oputside than Hollan. KCC outrebounded them and got to most loose balls. They were more physical than Breathitt. KCC missed easy shots. KCC lacks offense,but makes up for it in hustle. Mosley needs more open looks.

KCC did outhustle Breathitt and missed alot of open looks. KCC has to hit those shots and make freethrows to win.
