I guess that does away with the days of seeing DBs and WRs playing in late October and November with a good old Fruit Of The Loom long-sleeve tee on underneath of their shoulder pads.

I'm trying to figure out why the need for this?  Lzrd Tech and Battle have sleeves with grip on them as just standard sleeves are generally somewhat slick. Hence the reason you see a lot of players continue to wear the long sleeve cotton t-shirts.  Lzrd Tech is legal at all levels, not sure about Battle.  I know my son loves his Lzrd Tech sleeves as they help provide grip while saving his elbows from getting turf burns.

With this change, now parents are going to be forced to buy their kids $50+ dollar shirts instead of the cheap long sleeve cotton t-shirts for when it's cold out.

Finally, the rules committee made a revision in the Six-Player Football Rules that clarifies that as long as there is a change of possession from the snap receiver to another player on offense, the ball can be advanced beyond the line of scrimmage.

Probably irrelevant to this thread but over the last several months I've been pulling up six-man football on YouTube, mostly from Texas. Texas has two 6-man divisions; the larger is schools with 60-104 kids. The smaller is any school under 60 kids. I have no idea what is actually happening but it is neat to watch.

It won’t change the ability to wear those types of shirts. They are not manufactured for the purpose stated in the rule change.
