Unfortunately for Bethlehem, Leah Macy, their best player, went down with a knee injury on the first play of the game.  

Grace Mbugua, from DCA, named MVP of the tournament.

Wow, this obviously changed everything for this game, any idea of how serious it was?  I hate to hear this for Leah, she had to battle things last year (missing Queen of the Commonwealth), I hope this isn't anything serious!!!

It looked pretty serious.  She got possession on the tip and dribbled to the basket.  Grace Mbugua cut her off but there was no contact.  She planted her feet and went down.  She appeared to leave the arena and didn't show back up until the game was over.  Her right knee was in a pretty heavy brace and she was on crutches.  She wasn't able to put any weight on it.

Hoping for the best for Leah Macy. I was looking forward to catching her playing in NKY against Simon Kenton in a couple weeks.
