Hope everyone is safely indoors as the snow storm dumps snow all over the region, sure to mess with schedules all week across Northern Kentucky.  I will list the scheduled games for this week (including 8th, 9th, and 10th Region All A's), but expect there to be a ton of cancellations and postponements (especially tomorrow, where we have a HUGE one scheduled in Independence).

Cooper dropped a competitive game to Sacred Heart this week, no harm there, but Notre Dame dropped a game by double-digits to Dixie this year in their 2nd head-to-head matchup.  I certainly respect the heck out of @1992Rebel that he thinks I've had Dixie too low this year (and I mentioned before the season started I thought they were a sleeper and would threaten that top 5 all year), but it is tough given how SKLP and Highlands have played, plus Dixie dropping a game decisively to Campbell County a few weeks ago.  Make it tough to move Dixie up too far especially if Campbell County keep winning.  The Top 8 in the area are very competitive with each other this year, and I'm including down to Brossart who dropped another heart-breaker this week, this time narrowly to their rival Camels.  I hope we can get the majority of this week's games in because they will continue to help us clarify the situation between those top 8.  

I was torn last week with NewCath and Ryle at 10 and 1st other, and it looks like we got that one correct.  This week I'm torn on Walton Verona and Grant County, and I'm not sure we'll know for sure on those two until the meet up in a couple of weeks!   Lastly, good luck to all of our area teams playing in their region's All A tournaments this week, hope we can get 3 NKY teams to the state tourney in Owensboro this year, where Holy Cross are the two-time defending All A State Champs.  

1.  Holy Cross 13-1 (1-0):  they open the 9th All A at St. Henry vs Ludlow

2.  Cooper 6-3 (0-1):  vs Assumption at Trinity, at Conner, and vs South Laurel at Franklin Co.

3.  Simon Kenton 11-2 (2-0):  vs #5 Notre Dame (hope they get it in!), at Conner, and at Franklin Co.

4.  Highlands 12-2 (3-0):  vs Scott, and vs Dunbar at Franklin Co.

5.  Notre Dame 8-2 (0-1):  at #3 Simon Kenton, and vs Madison Central at Franklin Co. (MC is very good!!!)

6.  Campbell County 8-3 (1-0):  at Montgomery County, and vs Assumption at Franklin Co. (Assumption having their NKY week)

7.  Dixie 6-4 (1-0):  vs Ryle and vs Assumption at Louisville St. Xavier

8.  Brossart 8-4 (0-1):  they open the 10th All A at Robertson County (the tourney hosts)

9.  NewCath 7-6 (1-0):  they open the 9th All A at St. Henry vs Beechwood

10. Walton Verona 9-5 (1-0):  they open the 8th All A at Owen County vs Gallatin County
