Beechwood is back home after two road games hosting the Carroll County Panthers, game time 7:30 pm. Carroll County's first year head coach Joshua Smith is still looking for his first win. It is not likely to happen this coming Friday as Beechwood enters this game 7-1 and ranked #3 in 2A.

Beechwood's stellar QB Clay Hayden threw career TD pass #99 in last week's game. His first TD pass in this game will be #100. It was mentioned in the Owen County game thread that Beechwood QB Kyle Fieger holds the Beechwood and N. Ky. record at 107, but he is not listed in the KHSAA records. The N. Ky. leader in the KHSAA records is Tanner Morgan at 104, but his freshman and sophomore seasons were at Hazard. Hayden is tied for the lead in the entire state all classes with 28 TD passes on the season. Other standout offensive players for Beechwood are WR James Cusick, WR Luke Erdman and RB Chase Flaherty.

Carroll County is led by Sr QB Parker Mumphrey who is also the top rusher on the team. WR Karson Vaught leads the team in receptions and is one of the top tacklers on the defensive side of that ball. DE Bryson Chadwell is one of the state leaders in tackles for loss.
