Cincinnati opens the final home stand of the season as Atlanta comes to the Queen City.   Reds need to close out on a winning note at home then regroup for 2025.

Not starting out well.   5-2 Braves in the fifth.

Cincinnati adds 2 in the 6th to cut the lead to 5-4 headed to the seventh.

Reds score 2 more in the 7th on a Steer 2 run longball.  6-5 Reds after 7.

Reds win, 6-5

HOW IN THE WORLD can you be 18-6 against the Braves, Astros, Yankees, Dodgers and Phillies and 56-72 against everybody else??!!!  That’s just mind boggling!!

This is David Bell's Reds... when you have no urgency or accountability for consistency you play up and down to your opponent. This goes right along with his ho-hum pressers no matter how many they lose in a row.

I agree 100% with that, leadership and accountability have to start with him and it never does!!

Game 2.  Currently 1-0 Braves in the 4th.

Still 1-0 Atlanta in the sixth.

Reds plate a run in the 6th to ties it up.  1-1 headed into the 7th.

Ozuna homers in the top of the 7th as the Braves score 3.  4-1 Braves at the stretch.

Braves score 2 more in the top of the eighth.  6-1 Atlanta in the bottom of the eighth.

Braves win, 7-1.

Braves take the finale, 15-3.
