Jeffersontown at Shawnee Predictions/Updates

In week 2 Jeffersontown (1-0) travels to Shawnee (0-1).

Jeffersontown started off the season with a 25 to 0 win over Iroquois.

Shawnee lost their opener 26-2 to Moore.

These two teams met in week 2 last season as well with Jeffersontown winning 28 to 6.

There is no reason to think this year will be any different. Chargers roll in this one.

Chargers don't care about their RPI, clearly. If this isn't a halftime RC cola, they should be ashamed of themselves.

Football programs rise and fall with rapidity in Jefferson County. There are very few programs in JCPS that are scheduling with RPI in mind - they mostly want to get their kids back the next season. J-town was excellent last year (year 1 of the scheduling cycle, mind you), but it had been years since they had been good before then. No one should be ashamed of themselves; based on the results of many JCPS teams over the years it may well be the Chargers on the negative end next year.

@gchs_uk9 Sure, in Louisville, the public schools outside of Central, Manual, Ballard and Male are all relative bottom feeders. They all play within JCPS, and rarely venture outside of the county borders unless their district requires it. 

Then they are all gone by the 2nd round, or as soon as they play a non- JCPS team. I guess the bussing situation forces a Jtown to play a Shawnee. Maybe.
