I am responsible for stat tracking and am looking for an efficient mode for stat tracking.  The app I used for years closed up shop last year and I made due last year but am looking for something better.  Can anyone recommend a digital tool.  Iphone or PC please.  Much thanks in advance!

@Nuke LaLoosh, do you have anything to add?

No sir.  I will be continuing to do it the old fashion way for now.  Pencil, a home made stat sheet, and a clipboard.  I add up everything manually after each game and at the end of the season.

@nkypete what can you tell us?

I'm willing to guess that the software that @SpearNoEvil_LCS is referring to was "Digital Scout".  I had used that software for years and it went belly up in 2023 just a few weeks before the start of the season.  I had a difficult time finding a suitable replacement.  "Digital Scout" worked great on an iPad.  But I could not find a suitable alternative for iPad.  I download several free versions of software.  Like the story of the 3 Bears, it was a matter of finding something that was "just right" and that was not too cheap and clanky or something that was not ridiculously expensive and complicated with features that I did not need for high school.

I ended up choosing "Turbostats" (ProSeries edition for $200/yr).  The downside is that it doesn't work on an iPad.  I also purchased a new Windows Surface tablet from Turbostats (another $299) with the software preloaded and licensed.  This year, the renewal was only $200.  I had about one week last year to learn how to use it.  Customer service is helpful, but I wished there were more training videos.  Plenty of times, I was lost on the field trying to figure out how to enter a specific situation.  However, once I understood and got experienced with the software, I grew to like it.  I think Turbostats picked up a lot of the old Digital Scout business.

I may upgrade someday to a version with Live Scoring and the ability to Tweet automatically after scores.  I miss the Live Scoring that was available with Digital Scout.

After last year, I sent Turbostats a list of things that I would like to see changed.  They are gradually responding to some of my requests.  If someone else goes down the Turbostats path, I would be happy to help that individual with the learning curve.

Digital Scout was indeed the app I used and it was simply fantastic.  I have found an app that claims to replace the gap left in the market.  The app designer has already been very helpful and has responded to my questions very quickly.  Pressboxtstats.com is what I will try to use this season.  The fee is 59.00 a year.
