We have some really fun things in the works that will hopefully spotlight the entire state a little bit more.  We have a few I's to dot and a few T's to cross before we can announce it.  I am very excited about the possibilities!

@ApolloFan98 the Media Day is one of the best run events I can remember!  WOW!

Things I took away from the show:

1.  The host was super knowledgeable about the teams and had focused questions to spur quick detailed information from all the teams.

2.  There are some top schools on this list, but when I listen to a team like Breckinridge County and Coach Hottrell speak about what it takes to play at a school like Breckinridge and that effort has paid off in the fact that he has the "most kids he's ever had since he's been there" come out for football this season (about 60 he said with roughly 20 Freshmen).  That is a really hidden gem.  High school coaches do so much for their players and should surely be admired more for it.

Coach Hottrell has been there for 14 years.  His highest win total was 6 in 2019.  He has 28 wins over 14 seasons, but he is super committed to his profession, his kids, and his community.  Well done!  It's more than just wins and losses.

3.  Coach Mofield at Meade County was pretty inspiring.

4.  Apollo and Henderson County gave a good interview.

5.  Daviess County didn't show.

6. Owensboro and OCath gave very informative interview as well.

5 hours of content for all the schools listed above can be streamed here:  (WELL DONE!!!!)

Thank you for the compliment @Purple88!  I can't take any of the credit for media day, as Vic and company did all of the heavy lifting while I was out traveling for my day job.  That said, I am extremely proud of the coverage that we are able to bring to the area.  I was able to watch from a distance and I thought everyone involved did a great job!

I am really excited to be adding 2 new shows to the 1027 lineup this high school sports season.  On Friday's we are going to be doing an immediate scoreboard show with Coaches comments from around our area. Several of the area Coaches have already expressed excitement to be able to call in and give their postgame thoughts.

We also will be debuting a new Kentucky High School show that will feature a Coach and Player from around the state, every week.  The first episode will be available on this coming Wednesday, the 7th.  The debut episode will feature Mayfield Coach, Cliff Dew, along with Bowling Green's Duce Bailey.  This show will be released every single Wednesday.

You will be able to live stream the show on 1027 The Game at 6pm Central Time on Wednesday's.  The show's will go up on iTunes and Spotify directly after airing so you can listen anytime.  I will post the guests and links here weekly, if that is alright with everyone at Bluegrass Preps.  The direct live link to listen to 1027 is ..... https://1027thegame.com/player/?playerID=2947

I am very excited to expand our coverage and spotlight the great Players and Coaches across the state!
