I'd say losing to 8-23 (at the time) Western Hill in the first game of the district has probably got something to do with it.

Bergeron coached 7 minutes of the first game, got ejected and never coached again (some type of illness is what they said but not sure he was ever bought in). So the loss didn't have anything to do with him.

Sorry, the word illness made it sound worse than I had heard. Back injury is what I was told.
