Warren Central 74 Butler County 70

Big game in Bowling Green tonight, where the Dragons edge 3rd Region #1 Butler County with a wild climax.

This is the textbook example of: Why You Foul Up 3 In Final Seconds

A hill I'll die on.  No way would I have let Central attempt a three.  I probably hold Unseld before the ball is even inbounded and make them call that foul.  Especially given how Butler County was shooting free throws.

That dunk gave Warren Central their first lead of the game.  The only one they needed.

Butler County played a great game but came apart in the final few minutes.  It will be a good learning experience for them moving forward.  Unseld and Price are worth the price of admission.  Nice finish from the Dragons!

Here's a more dramatic, slo-mo presentation of the game winning sequence. That's some next level work from Unseld, drifting to his right with a hand in his face for a corner three. I can't tell if the Bear lost control of the ball in traffic, or if Bratton stripped it.

He took 5 steps on that dunk?

Along with two dribbles ?

Talk about snatching defeat from the jaws of victory. Jeez BC.
