I agree. An art historian with a doctorate who has no opinion about the War in Iraq? Please. In my opinion, doesn't look to good for the little Scooter.

You would think Libby's lawyer would have done a better job of picking the jury, but then again, we don't really know how many he was allowed to strike. Maybe one of the legal minds on BGP could fill us in.

Now that's the kind of legal advice I usually get ...

CNN has posted the Bob Woodward tape recording of his discussion with Richard Armitage where Armitage leaks that Plame worked for the CIA.

http://i.a.cnn.net/cnn/2007/images/02/12/libby.mp3

Very interesting to listen to for a couple of points. Armitage claims that "everyone knew" that Plame worked for the agency because Joe Wilson was telling everybody. According to Armitage, Joe's ego was bruised because he was being protrayed as some low-level operative in the press.

There's also some yellow-cake related info that should make Bush's opponents happy when they hear it.

Anyone still out there who thinks Libby will be convicted of anything???

Yet another liberal-created "scandal" that turns out to be nothing but a waste of time and millions of dollars.

I think most Americans are like me and could really care less about this. It is a blip that I give about 1 second a day thought to. And that is when I read the thread title on the BGP New Posts section.

Libbey will be convicted of a minor offense, do 3-6 months in a Federal Country Club and that will be it.

^^Wow, you are usually pretty close to hitting the nail on the head, but I hope you are wrong this time. I don't see him being convicted of anything...several people have testified that they heard it from others, and Libby did not tell them when he had a chance...IMO end of story.

This thread was started on 1/23 and has approximately 10 posts.

The Dixie Chicks thread was started on 2/11 and has approximately 88 posts.

I think this goes to show how important the Libby Trial is to the citizens/voters.

^^^It was a major story when the Dems were making it a huge deal...the charges being dropped won't be a big deal...

Since dead eye dick is going to leave his loyal servent wonded on the battle field, swinging in the wind by not testifying, I predict a quilty verdict and 4 years in a minumum security prison.

If anyone on here is able to predict what a jury is going to do, I need to hire you as a jury consultant.
