That 2018 South Shore team was really fun to watch. They practically had the whole gym rooting against them and they didn’t care. I was rooting for them to win it all.

I was a freshman in the 84-85 season when Somerset was in the tourney.  We defeated Eastern, led by Felton Spencer, before dropping 2 close games to PRP and Doss.  Dobbins Tech, that won the tourney that year, was led by the late Hank Gathers and Bo Kimble who both went on to star at Loyola Marymout.  I also remember the St. Raymond's, NY had a 1 armed player that year.   It was a great experience.  

I believe Gonzaga (D.C.) played Owensboro Senior High for the title in 1985. Owensboro would go on to lose in the semifinals of the Sweet 16 to eventual champion Pulaski County. Long time Red Devil fans are still upset behind that game.
