The Raiders (9-2) make the 3.5 hour trip deep into the Mountains to take on the Bobcats (11-1) of Bell Co.
 

I doubt many will give the Raiders a chance but they have a good ground game if they can control time of possession they will have a shot.

They have a common opponent in Boyd Co. Boyd played both teams back to back. Bell defeated Boyd by 19 at 60-41. Boyd lost the next week to East at home by 5 at 33-28. I’m pulling for my Raiders it will be a tough go, but 85% on here had Lloyd Memorial beating East as well. 

Champlin and the Raiders know what's coming. Anyone who's been paying attention knows what's coming.  

Daniel Thomas needs 203 yards to break the state's single season rushing record.

I'd love to see the Raiders pull this off, but I expect Dudley Hilton to go to bed a happy man on Friday night after his Bobcats win and Thomas is the new single season rushing king.

I think Bell wins by 2 or 3 scores. Could go either way though, East is a lot better than most expected and could cause another ripple here.

The school is letting out at 1:00 today due to the length of the trip. I think this great and what high school sports should be all about. Link didn't work for me, but I can see it in my head. School spirit is a beautiful thing and should never be taken for granted.

Bell Co. gets on the board halfway through the first quarter and get the two point conversion. To make it 8-0 Bell Co.

Bell gets another touchdown and another two point conversion to make it 16-0 late in the 2nd quarter.

East Carter answers back quickly with a touchdown and a two point conversion of their own to make it 16-8 Bell Co. with :39 seconds left in the first half. The Raiders are so far playing Bell better than most thought.
