Bell County 24 Belfry 22

Featured Replies

You won’t see a more even game than this. Both teams were mirror images of each other but ultimately a failed two point conversion and a key stop inside the ten prove the difference.

Belfry was moving the ball at will riding Senior FB Dre Young but they inexplicable chose to go to the pass twice inside the ten and both incomplete passes led to a 4th Quarter stop.

Daniel Thomas carried the Bobcats with around 40 totes of the rock and when they needed it he broke tackles for key conversions to allow the Bobcats to run out the clock.

A great game that came down to who made the little key plays to win at the team that did it the most was Bell County.

Belfry bows out in the 2nd Round for the second straight year.

Congratulations to Bell County! Figured this would be close but that Belfry would win. Sounds like it was a very good game.

If those numbers are accurate, that puts him 200ish yards away from the state's single season rushing record, which has stood for over 50 years.

You gotta like his chances of breaking it next week against East Carter.
