The Cardinals of George Rogers Clark (4-4) and (0-2) in district play travel to "The Farm" in Lexington to take on the Broncos of Frederick Douglass (4-3) and    (2-0) in district play. The Cardinals are coming off a tough loss at home last week against Madison Central 16-13. The Broncos are coming off a big road win over a very good Bryan Station team 34-14. This should be a fairly easy game at home for Douglass going into their season finally vs what most think in the #1 overall team in the state no matter of class Boyle Co. This game should give sophomore Jaxan Strautman an opportunity to get some more snaps in running the Bronco offense.

This game will be broadcast on the NFHS Network and also is being carried by Gilcod as well.

RC Cola by halftime in this one. Unless GRC can catch Douglass looking ahead to Boyle County, then they might make it into the 3rd before they quit hitting the stop button on the clock.

Douglass gets a 42 yard touchdown pass from Strautman to Ranvier for the touchdown and Ranvier gets the extra point and Douglass leads 7-0 early in the first quarter.

Douglass WR Aveion Chenualt returns a punt 45 yards for a touchdown and Douglass leads 14-0 with just under 5 minutes left in the first quarter.

Another touchdown for Chenualt this one on a 25 yard pass from Strautman the extra point is good and Douglass now leads 21-0 with 3:02 left in the first quarter.

Douglass scores on the first play of the 2nd quarter on a 1 yard run by Tay Tay Allen the two point conversion is good to make it 29-0 with still 11:54 left in the 2nd quarter.

Douglass scores again this time a 11 yard pass from Strautman to Ranvier for a touchdown and Ranvier gets the extra point to make it a running clock at 36-0 with still 8:00 minutes left in the 2nd quarter.

Douglass has already subbed in a lot of underclassman.

Douglass scores on their first possession another touchdown by Allen this one a 30 yard run. They now lead GRC 43-0.

Douglass reserves pickup a touchdown to now make it 50-0 Douglass with 2:06 left in the 3rd quarter.

GRC picks up a touchdown the 2 point conversion fails and Douglass 50-6 with just under 6 minutes to play.
