29-7 BIRDS, 31 seconds left in the half

That was killer for Conner.  They have played better than expected but that is going to open up the floodgates in the 2nd half.

Agreed, seemed like Birds were sleep walking in that 1st qtr....just didn't seem juiced up at all

HALFTIME!

29-7 BIRDS ON TOP

Noticed Litmer under center in the last series, I apologize if he was there for a few series, was away.  Will that be what we see in the 2nd half?  Is this Litmer's game to get some reps?  Or will Benke come back under center?  I also saw Matteo Matteoli getting some targets which is nice to see....he's been lost in the WR shuffle in the last few weeks.

Adam Surrey has got to be the 1st half MVP with 2 awesome punt returns, 1 to get that TD before the half.

O my, Highlands Band budget must have gone up....these costumes are killer!

They do look good!

I know they have shown that shot in games before but I haven't been at the helm to comment.  I LOVE the droid view from the sky!

Alright, we are set to get this half underway!

Birds will be receiving...

Conner, nice kick into endzone for a touchback

Benke back under center.

Giesler run for 8 yards

Benke with the keeper for a handful for a FIRST DOWN.

Giesler around the corner for 2 yds

Giesler pings off right tackle to go up middle for 6 yds

3rd and 2

Benke up the gut for enough for 1st down.

Benke after checking off a few recievers, finds Giesler on left side for a sweet 50 yd'ish TD!!!
