Bishop Brossart travels to Paris as former district rivals tee it up before district games begin. Both are coming off of mid season bye weeks. The Mustangs sit at 2-3 and the Hounds are 5-0. Paris is averaging 40 per game and only giving up 12 per game. Thoughts?

Brossart has beat the Greyhounds 6 straight games...Different Paris team...A lot of youth and athleticism...Paris football is back...Coach Rice and staff are coaching their tails off??

There has been a bullseye on this game in the Greyhounds locker room ever since the hounds left Alexandria a year ago. That game Brossart controlled the game from start to finish with a walk away district championship. This year (even though it’s not a district game) the Hounds look to look impressive on homecoming in front of their fans. I expect this one to be a slow start with Brossart looking to control clock. Hounds just have too much speed.

I think Paris wins this one rather handily, though I would hesitate to say they are back until they get a significant program win. Was Rockcastle a good win for Paris? Yeah, was it significant? No. If they can stay within 14 points of Raceland, I'll be a believer. Paris is going in the right direction, and maybe their schedule didn't pan out like they planned, they're a good 1A team, not great.
