Any details on this one?

Didn’t post updates, Dayton’s defense played very good and Ludlow had a few turnovers. Both teams looked good moving the ball at times, I was impressed with Dayton’s defense. Sorry for not having any official stats.

No, that is great.  I am glad to see it be so competitive.

I was at this one last night. Thought Dayton played well. Moved the ball most of the night, almost all on the ground. Quarterback Chad Nickell handles the ball well and is a strong runner. The Devils had plenty of quickness with Mason Johnson in the backfield and they could get 3-4 yards every time with fullback Dangelo Jimenez. On defense they attacked and finished tackles well. I'll also add the crowd was loud and excited and brought a lot of energy.

With all that said, I just didn't think Ludlow played very well. It appeared that their best athlete was Ethan Powell (#8) but they didn't really get him the ball much (he had a kickoff return called back because of a holding penalty). It just didn't seem like there was much enthusiasm for Ludlow and they never really got into the game.

Nickel and Jimenez is the glue of the team for Dayton IMO.
