This game has been moved from Friday to Saturday at 7:30pm.

Russell will travel to Greenup County after starting the season with a win over Mason County.  After a 2022 season that was one of the worst in school history.  Greenup coming off an opening week loss to a quality Coal Grove (OH) team and coming off one their best seasons in school history in 2022 will look to get their first win of 2023.

Will Russell go 2-0 on the season, or will Greenup County even the tally at 1-1?

This game is also a tough pick no matter what their records are but being early in the season and at Greenup I’m inclined to pick Greenup in a close one but see Russell turning into a 2 touchdown win wouldn’t surprise me this early in the season. Russell 35-22

Tyson Sammons with a great run to extend GC's lead.

Russell scores again to pull within 2. Conversion failed. Good game in Lloyd.

Russell knocking on the door at GC's 4 with :11 to go.
