Dixie should be able to name the score here. Get up early and get the starters out of the heat. Hughes does have TJ Engleman, a senior RB committed to East Carolina University.

Hughes is small in size and numbers. Just wearing them out. Hughes has speed though, and that is keeping them in the game.

26 minutes until kickoff. It’s my 1st time here at Willard R. Stargel Stadium, and I must say this place is very nice.

That place was just rebuilt a few years ago, Scott High played Taft in the last game ever played at the old stadium before this one was built.  All these schools use the stadium for home games.

Dixie with a missed opportunity. 1st and goal from 3 and come away 0.

Officials made Gregg leave the game due to no hip pads with a 2nd and goal. I haven’t seen that before.

Dixie is marching the ball down the field. 1st down on Hughes 19.

After Hughes 5th timeout of the half. Dixie’s #7 Gregg punches one in from the 1. Pat blocked. 13-8 Dixie.

I felt like Dixie gave away that game last week. Does that seem to be the case again this week?

No. Dixie hasn’t thrown much this game. They are about 95% run so far tonight.
