Junior 1B Shawn Sowder’s RBI single in the top of the 14th plated 8th grade CF Tyler Fryman to give Beechwood a 1-0 lead. 

Senior P Sam Stacy recorded the win as he pitched two innings of scoreless relief, including working out of a 1-out jam in the bottom of the 14th. 

Stacy was one of 4 Beechwood pitchers that combined to shutout St. X. Sophomore starter Chase Flaherty (4-1) pitched six STRONG innings and a trio of relievers - junior Keegan Hutton and seniors Torin O’Shea and Stacy - combined to throw EIGHT innings of scoreless relief.
