Seems this job is open more than not but Hickman County is now posted on the KHSAA open jobs forum.

Hickman County was a traditionally strong program at one time. Nowhere near what it used to be.

Their best days were when most of the rest of Region 1 were also smaller schools. All of the Graves County schools (except Mayfield) combining into one, all of the McCracken schools (except Tilghman) consolidating, etc. have made it very tough for schools in District 1 to have the success they consistently had in the 1970s, 80s, and 90s.

Regional Runners up in 1988,1989 and 1998. I get being a small school but they have struggled in the first District ( Fulton Co, Fulton City and Carlisle) all small schools.

Anybody hearing anything on this?

There hasn't been any talk at all on this job.

Hickman County has hired Mike White.
