1- Ballard Memorial, Caverna, Fulton County, Russellville
2- Bethlehem, Campbellsville, Holy Cross (Louisville), Kentucky Country Day
3- Bellevue, Dayton, Newport, Newport Central Catholic
4- Bishop Brossart, Holy Cross (Covington), Ludlow, Trimble County
5- Berea, Eminence, Frankfort, Sayre
6- Fairview, Nicholas County, Paris, Raceland
* 7- Harlan, Lynn Camp, Middlesboro, Pineville, Williamsburg
* 8- Hazard, Paintsville, Pikeville
* – The fifth place team in District 7 will become the fourth place team
   in District 7 for the purpose of playoff cross-bracketing

Unfortunately I feel that the separation is far past Pikeville and Raceland too, maybe I’m wrong along with others, but don’t see it now. I know that Newport Catholic lost Runyon and other talents this past season, don’t know much with others returning. 
 

Even though not considered as higher ranked teams, hopefully things continue improving as they have for teams like Dayton, Brossart, and others.

The Four Teams in District 2 Will Be Very Competitive Next Year.. Whether or Not They Can Close The Gap on Pikeville and Raceland is Yet To Be Seen...
