captain
Walton was ahead at the half. Daugherty led all scores 14 pts Hurd 13 pts , both ended with 5 fouls , Sk had some problems getting the ball up court at times. Good game to watch would have been better if the refs would have let the kids finish the game unstead of the tic tac fouls they called. Both teams shot poor from the foul line. Without Hester, SK just isn't the same team..... How is he doing?
MysteriousOnes
I was around for the first half. Walton was in complete control. Looks like they let this one slip away....
insider
SK needs to get Hester healthy and operating at full capacity in a hurry. Coach Steiner should hold him out until he is as close to recovered as possible. The Pioneers can't afford to bring him back to soon and risk him reaggravating his injury. I hope this happens soon for the Pioneers or they won't have much of a shot of dethroning Shelby and keeping them from a return trip to Rupp.
SirMixAlot
Hester's loss to SK might hurt them in the short term more than anyone expected.
spillywilly
Shots just did not fall in the last minutes of the game for the Bearcats. They were only down by five with two minutes to go. There leading scorer Daugherty fouled out with 6 min. in the fourth to go, on back to back fouls that were cheap fouls but they seemed to call that way all night.
