FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: FEB. 3, 2023

Pairings for the 2023 Mingua Beef Jerky Girls’ Basketball Sweet 16® and the UK HealthCare Boys’ Basketball Sweet 16® will be revealed Wednesday, Feb. 15, at 1 p.m. ET on the KHSAA's annual Sweet 16® Draw Show.

The draw is scheduled for live broadcast on the NFHS Network at no cost to viewers and can be accessed through khsaa.tv. The 2023 Sweet 16® Draw Show will be hosted by Dave "Buzz" Baker and Brian Milam from WKYT in Lexington, where it will originate from the KHSAA office.

Both tournaments will be held inside Rupp Arena at Central Bank Center, with the 62nd installment of the Girls’ Sweet 16® taking place March 8-11 and the 105th Boys’ Sweet 16® taking place March 15-18.

So they definitely ARE getting later, aside from 2021 which was half a season anyway.
