North Oldham 67 South Oldham 38

Not too hard to believe,  it’s a top 5 team in the state vs a .500 8th Region team.  The way South Oldham wins a game like that - the only way - is to hit a bunch of 3s.  South made 55% of its 3s vs Oldham. Tonight, they were 3 for 25. And what you get is what you got.

It’s not hard to believe the outcome of the game. It’s hard to believe the gap between the two programs. It hasn’t happened by chance….

A little hard to believe the margins of these three district games and where they were played: South barely loses to Oldham County at OC; North struggles to beat Oldham County in overtime at North; North soundly beats South Oldham at South. Logic suggests that most teams play better at home.

The OC-South district tournament game will played at North Oldham - should be a good one!

It’s seems hard to believe but- as mentioned above- south shot 55% against OC from 3 and LOST!  That doesn’t happen often especially when your entire program is built around that one element of the game.  OC vs North- foul trouble hurt north big time, but OC is also a lot bigger stronger and more competitive/tenacious than south so I would expect OC to play north closer than south would.  I am actually impressed south has done as “well” as they have this year all things considered.
