I have heard and seen a few pictures on social media in regards to Newport having a top player from Cincinnati transferring in. Does anyone have any info on this besides they have a transfer coming in? 

His name is Jabari Covington. He averaged around 20 a game last year in Cincinnati if I remember correctly. If he ends up being eligible then Newport could be regional title contenders.

    He is a former Holmes Bulldog...brother, Jason Covington, played for Holmes & NCC.  Jabari is a former KY Select / Tar Heels player.
