North Oldham got its first playoff victory since 2014 last week, blasting Valley in the first round of the class 4A playoffs, 41-0, improving their record to 5-6 on the year.   Since that 2014 team came with 6 seconds of advancing to the state championship game, the Mustangs had gone to just three playoffs in the last seven seasons, going 0-3.  

The Mustangs will face a tall task if they hope to even their record at 6-6 as they face the top-5 ranked Central Yellowjackets on the road this week, a team that trounced North, 52-0, on 10/14.

Central has won 5 in a row, outscoring the opposition, 175-0, during that stretch.   Last week's round one game was a gimme for the Jackets, though, as they beat Marion County, 1-0, by forfeit.

I think Central takes this in a landslide.  They beat the Mustangs during season 52-0 and the Yellowjackets tend to really pour it on during playoffs.  They also had an extra week to prepare with Marion Co. forfeiting their 1st round game.  Central take this 63-7.
