Dayton will travel to Kentucky Country Day on Friday in the second round. I don’t know anything about KCD other than they are 8-2. By looking at opponents each team has faced and other things I’ve recently looked at, I believe that Dayton has a good chance. I’m sure that KCD is the favorite to many, but I could see Dayton advancing. Good luck to both teams.

I have nothing against Kentucky Country Day but I think it would be cool to see a really small school like Dayton stay alive for another round.

They’ve shown some fight playing new Cath tough last year.

Definitely feels like a program on the up-and-up. Herbst is doing a good job. But the gap between Level 1, Level 2, Level 3, and Level 4 in Class 1A is hard to bridge. I think Dayton is a 3 right now but trying to move to 2. Country Day is a 2. I'm not sure the Greendevils have enough but I'd love to see it.

I believe that your points are pretty spot on about Dayton. To me, it almost seems borderline between the ranges you mentioned with some games being close to the 2 and others the 3. Regardless, I think they are going in a good direction.
