The Professor
Final score surprises me somewhat. I thought it would be a closer game, maybe not a victory but certainly not a 23 point loss.
GO15AROD
Powell and Owsley split games this year with each winning on the others home floor. They will probably play each other in the opening round of the district. Should be another physical game.
Augger
Owsley County played well in the first quarter. THe only problem was that there are 4 quarters. Poor defense and turnovers doomed the Owls and put a stop on a 6 game winning streak. The lady Owls have got to get it back together Thursday night at Estill. Big Game Player
After watching the game looked like Owsley went flat around the late 3rd quarter. Powell gained the momentum and never looed back. Numerous uncharacteristic turnovers from Owsley's side led to layups on the other end. If Owlsey handles the zone that Powell went to(somethingliek a 122 or a 131) then this gaem is decided by 5 points either way. Nice win for Powell and should be a great matchup come distric tourament time.
