FS stuffs Hopkinsville on fourth and one at their own 34. FS takes over in plus territory.

Hopkinsville goes 3 and out and punts almost into the first row of the stands. The cheerleaders had to scramble for safety. FS ball at the Hopkinsville 34. FS 10-0 under 3 minutes before the half. 

Outstanding jumping 22 yard TD catch in the end zone by Jalen Briscoe for FS with a defender all over him. It was 4th and 8 with less than 30 seconds before the half. Mathias Dickerson threw the ball. FS had been at 3rd and 27 just before that. FS 17-0 21 seconds before halftime.

FS defense has been really good so far. Hopkinsville run defense has been good but FS has made plays in the passing game.

Stud WR/DB #1 Mercer being out with an injury tonight has shown on both sides of the ball. The Tigers miss him desperately.

I was wondering where he was. I missed the pregame show on the radio. I saw him play when he was a freshman and I thought he was the best player on the field then.
