Hazard comes into this matchup needing a win to possibly maintain #2 spot in the RPI to keep home games throughout the playoffs. Hazard will be tested as Shelby Valley looked to be a very balanced offense. Shelby Valley needs a win here to help there RPI as they sit at #13 in 2A. Shelby Valley sits at 7-2 on the season with losses to Letcher County Central and North Laurel.  They are also on a 5 game winning streak as well.

Physical and mental health are key here for Hazard. They got flattened by an assault tank last week. The timing of this game could be off for the Bulldogs if they're not 100%, mind and body.

On Shelby Valley's end... they're in an offensive groove, but may have been lulled to sleep by a weak district. Russ Osborne is the real deal, though. 

Very interesting game that could really go either way.

That's my thought, I think it will be an interesting game and I could see either team winning.  We may know more about both teams after this one. 

Looking forward to seeing what happens in this one. Trying to figure out if Shelby Valley can make any noise in the playoffs.

If that happens then Hazard has turned the page after the Pikeville game.
