Is he running?”  And before anyone says he doesn’t have an arm, bologna. Kid can throw it just fine if given the opportunity.     Beechwood 8 Newport 0

    28-0 Tigers! Luke Erdman with a 16yard TD run on an end around. Chase Flaherty has 3 TD’s rushing and the defense has a safety.

    After Beechwood missed the first extra point they have gone for 2 point conversions on the other 3 TD’s and are 1/3 on those try’s.

    Beechwood stopped Newport on downs so Beechwood takes over at Newport 45.

    TD Tigers Chase Flaherty with his 4th TD. The sophomores are stepping up tonight on senior night. Newport went offsides twice on the extra point kicks so Beechwood went for 2 and converted it 36-0 Tigers.

    Interesting story Nazario Pangallo on the broadcast. Some seniors got together this week and went to convince Matt Kappas who has never played football before to try out for a kicker. He had a tryout on Monday and has joined the team but couldn’t play tonight because new players have to have so many practices in pads. According to Naz he has seen him kick a 50 yard FG.

    57-0 Final! Tigers win and lock up the 1 seed in District 6 and Newport will be the 4 seed.
