LCA vs Bryan Station Scrimmage

LCA 21 - 7 in three qtrs at Bryan Station. Boley looked the part. Drew Nieves will have a special season at WR. Chaney and Brown were lock down at corners. LCA defense with 2 picks and numerous sacks looked solid. Rebuilt LB core was solid and D line rotation was on point. Great first tune up for the Eagles. Station looks the part and is physical. QB has good wheels but the big question mark is their receiving core and secondary coverage. But hey that’s what these scrimmages are for. Great video to build from.

Did LCA air it out a lot or was it a good mix. I know Emerson is a workhouse at rb but goes both ways so I assume touches are more limited.

Under Coach Hawkins Bryan Station seems to be a program that gets better and better as the season rolls along. 
 

Is LCA on par with Lexington Catholic these days?  It seems their program improves year after year.

Back to back state finals appearances, developing a slew of D1 kids, and last year's first half running clock over LexCath suggest they're a step ahead. 

But sports have proven that things can turn on a dime. Maybe Bathiany is the guy to get the Knights back on that level.

I think Bathiany was a good hire.  But I think they struggle this year.
