They had a hut right outside the security walk through that you could buy tickets at. Not sure what the cost was there.

To add on the ridiculous Ticketmaster fees, you have to account for the concession pricing. $5 Bottle of Water, $6 Soda, $6 Ice cream cone(6 year old son broke me there throughout the week).

(3-21-22) The 100th OHSAA State Boys Basketball Championships at UD Arena is the first state tournament clear of COVID 19 protocols since 2019. This year due to the NCAA First Four being played on Tuesday and Wednesday in Dayton at UD….the OHSAA decided to play the games on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Numbers from the State Final games are well down from the 2019 tournament that was played at the the Schottenstein Center in Columbus. Although the D I and D III finals were very close to the 2019 number.

 

2022 OHSAA State Final Games (Sunday, 3-20-19)

• 4,520  – D IV – Tri-Village vs Richmond Heights
• 7,105 – D III – Cincinnati Taft vs Ottawa-Glandorf 
• 3,845 – D II – Akron St. Vincent-St. Mary vs Gilmour Academy
• 8,561 – D I – Centerville vs. Pickerington Central

2022 State Final Games Total: 24,031

A small drink and a Pizza (which is only 2 small pieces) was $11.  You can buy a big drink and a Pizza (size of a personal pan) for $10 at Memorial.   More for your money.  Now I know that the sweet 16 will not go to memorial but still the prizes are just way too high.   Plus this year most of the places didn't take cash only cards.
