Daniel Brown's Henry Clay team emerged from an always treacherous 11th Region to earn a spot in the 2022 field.  The Blue Devils failed to win the 42nd District but were able to avenge that loss in the Regional Championship.  Henry Clay is led a seniors Aziel Blackwell (17.2 ppg), Kanye Henderson (13.3 ppg), & junior Konlin Brown (11.2 ppg).

1st Region champion Murray, like Henry Clay, fell short in its District Championship game, but prevailed in the Regional.  Junior guard Grant Whitaker leads the Tigers in scoring at 17.2 ppg.  Senior forward Trey Boggess nets 13.4 ppg.  Murray is 1-1 against the Sweet 16® field, earning a win against Muhlenberg County & a loss to Pikeville.
