This will go down as a loss, but this score will be a reminder to the rest of the 9th that you can't sleep on Holy Cross.  Playing in Louisville, at a team some have in the top 5 in KY, on the heels of their win over Sacred Heart, HC was tied with 2 minutes left and fell by 5.

Still, a very impressive result for the Indians.

I accidentally put a post in the boys oops.  It was a really good game.
It was a close back and forth game with the Indians up 28-26 at the half.  Mercy went up by three with less than a minute left.  HC fooled Mercy missed their front end and HC had the ball with the opportunity to tie but couldn’t score.  They quickly fouled and Mercy hit their free throws to go up by 5 with 15 seconds left. HC couldn’t score.  It was a really good game.  Holy Cross passed well and was hitting their threes.  It was of their best games IMO

Mercy could have been tired also after the night before 2 overtime win over Sacted Heart 98-96.. That's a lot of scoring for a high school game.

Could have but that is part of the game.  Holy Cross could have been tired Friday against Brossart after playing on Mon, Tues and a triple header against Conner on Thursday, but as I said it is part of the game.   When Holy Cross is hitting their threes they are a tough team to beat.  This was a really fun game to watch.

Yes. When they hit threes, they are tough.

Of course they were tired.
