Don't forget that Freeman didn't have his best RB today.  Williams had 5x as many rush yards as the next RB and was their 4th leading WR.  Kelly really didn't develop anybody else at that position.  Hopefully next year Freeman will utilize a bit more depth.  I'm not going to judge a new HC at all based upon one game with a team he inherited.  IMO he starts with a clean slate next year.
