Final from Warsaw. Very entertaining game tonight that saw Gallatin battle through serious foul trouble. 
The Bearcats led 38-34 at halftime and tried to pull away in the second half. Gallatin trailed 76-71 with two minutes to play, but WV hit their free throws down the stretch to claim the victory.

Really thought this would be a wider margin.

A good look for both teams.

For Walton - who undoubtedly came in a little fat and sassy after a heady first week (it's just human nature, folks) - it showed that they can find a way to win no matter what.   Great teams learn to win in different situations.

For Gallatin, a tremendous effort.   Conventional wisdom says that 4 Quarters was right - W-V should have won by a wider margin.   But they didn't, because Gallatin didn't allow it.    Kudos to Coach Sullivan's crew.

I felt the refs played to much of a factor in this game. Neither team could get into a good rhythm. 
I believe Smithers finished with 30 but did not record his first bucket until late in the first half. The kid can score from all over the floor as well. I always heard he was a shooter but strong drives as well. 

Mason Arnold and Kellen Dossett scored 16 points apiece and Arnold grabbed 11 rebounds.
