First of all, I think LexCath's defense had a lot to do with the poor shooting. To function well against this defense you have to have some outstanding ballhandlers. I've seen other teams, perhaps even better teams, suffer poor shooting nights against LC. Secondly, I think that non 11th region teams may have a hard time adjusting to the officiating in the 11th. Generally, the refs will let the players play more aggrssively than in other parts of the state, (just my opinion). And finally, the quality of team tha JBHS puts on the court will be decided, not by this game, but by the manner in which they play the remainder of the tourney. There's a lot of quality teams in the consolodation bracket and, therefore, more opportunities for the Crusaders to state their case. Either way, this is a good learning experience for each of the teams in the tourney to improve against good competition from throught the state which should help them in post-season play.

I think it's always helpful for teams from the mountains, as well as teams from the far western end of the state, to play in venues like the 5/3. So far, JBS is 1-1, and it is true that there are several nice teams in the consolation bracket. I think their next game is vs. Trinity (if I'm reading the beackets correctly); this will give JBS a chance to shine in a true "David vs. Goliath" matchup.
