The Raceland Rams welcome in its toughest opponent you the season( in my eyes). Lawrence County comes to town to end the regular season. Lawrence County has been tough this season.Lawrence County sets at 7-2 with a loss to Belfry and a Covid loss to East Carter. Lawrence County and Raceland have a common opponent in this matchup up. They both have played Russell. The Rams lost to Russell 28-18, while Lawrence County beat Russell 39-28. So on paper and comparing scores Lawrence County should come out on top, But that’s now how it works.. We will just wait and see on the results Friday night. Interesting note to add Raceland has 6 consecutive wins in this series.

Does Raceland get another huge win before the playoffs? Does Lawrence County get a huge win over a very good Raceland team?

Lawrence County needs to get their chakras aligned heading into November.

That Belfry blowout loss when their confidence was at its highest point in decades could either be a mental roadblock they never overcome or it could be the catalyst to dig deeper.

Lawrence County desperately needs a confidence building win over a good team to get their momentum and swagger back heading into the playoffs knowing that Belfry will be waiting in Round 2.

Lawrence County rebounded well last week after the Belfry debacle, but Raceland is on a roll and getting better each week. Lundy is gaining greater control of the offense and he's got weapons all around him. I'll take the Rams by two scores.
