Adair County vs. Taylor County Predictions/Updates

A huge district matchup is this friday between the rivals Indians and Cardinals. Both teams enter with 6-2 records and the winner will be the #2 seed and host a playoff game. These two teams will actually meet again in the playoffs no matter the outcome and this game is for home field. Taylor County has a dynamic rushing attack with brothers Peyton and Kaden Smith. The Indians have been more balanced lately with 4-5 guys getting carries and QB Luke Janes throwing the ball well.

Adair showed they could win close game last week. I pick Adair by a very close ballgame.

Having seen both teams, I'll go with Taylor County 35-28. With that said, it depends which Taylor County team shows up. Taylor has some really good pieces but also has some games where they come out flat and just seem disinterested. When Taylor is locked in, they are a very solid team. 

Adair on the other hand is going to play hard from whistle to whistle and play the entire 40 minutes with everything they have. I really like this Adair team and for sure could see them beating Taylor. Should be a very good game.

This will be a far closer game than I imagined at the start of the year. I have TC in a close one but would not be surprised at all to see Adair pull it out.
